Award celebrates Shelton employees and the core values they exemplify every day

Denver, December 8, 2025 – Shelton Capital Management has once again been recognized as one of the top firms in investment management, earning a place on Pensions & Investments’ 2025 Best Places to Work in Money Management list for the sixth consecutive year. The honor highlights the impact of Shelton’s employees and the culture they create—one defined by professionalism, authentic client service, and deep commitment to one another.

“This recognition belongs entirely to our team,” said Steve Rogers, CEO of Shelton Capital Management. “Our employees bring our core values to life in the way they collaborate, support our clients, and show up for each other. Their energy is what makes Shelton a place where people can thrive, and I’m incredibly proud of the culture they continue to build.”

The survey results reflect Shelton Capital Management’s commitment to both financial wellness and a values-driven workplace. Nearly 100% of employees participate in the firm’s best-in-class 401(k) plan, underscoring a culture of long-term planning and personal empowerment. For example, in 2025, Shelton’s employees led the formation of a volunteer committee to deepen community impact by organizing opportunities to give back through partnerships with Project C.U.R.E., the Denver Rescue Mission, and the Young Americans Center for Financial Education.

The firm also expanded efforts to strengthen internal connection and alignment. This year, Shelton hosted department-level off-sites and a company-wide off-site to promote fresh thinking, build cross-team trust, and foster a deeper sense of shared purpose.

“As their employees attest, the companies named to this year’s Best Places to Work list demonstrate a commitment to building and maintaining a strong workplace culture,’’ said P&I Editor-in-Chief Julie Tatge. “In doing so, they’re helping their employees, clients and their businesses succeed.’’

Pensions & Investments partnered with Workforce Research Group, a research firm specializing in identifying great places to work, to conduct a two-part survey process of employers and their employees.

The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 20% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 80% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies.
